Whether you’re an experienced artist looking for a new stage, a new artist looking for a first stage or just want to have some fun. Gigz@theGate is an open and supportive space to come and try out new material in front of a live audience.

Open Mic

On Saturday 2nd May we'll be doing a very special edition of our regular open mic nights, as part of our community event The Garden Gate.

Celebrate the bank holiday weekend and the launch of our 2026 summer season with a series of FREE family friendly activities including gardening, recycled arts & crafts, poetry, wellbeing nature walks and more

To round of the day, we'll be hosting our first open mic night of the summer in the more intimate, Manège Outdoor Arts Space, as the sun sets across the hills. The cafe will be open as usual serving drinks and hot food until 8pm.
